Ryan P. Walsh
Ryan is a management consultant with twenty years of experience in for-profit organizations, non-profit organizations, finance, accounting, operations, strategy, sales and event production. He has worked in public and private companies as well as not-for-profit organizations.
After moving to Park City in January of 2010, Ryan worked for Deer Valley, Jans and then with World Intelligent Network where he supported eight companies in roles such as Controller, Executive Director, Operations / Finance Director and Consultant. Most recently he served as the Executive Director at Team Park City United, where he helped merged three youth sports teams into a single nonprofit sports club.
Ryan began his career at Xerox as a Financial Analyst, where he gained a strong foundation in budgeting, forecasting, reporting and accounting. From this platform, he went on to complete an MBA in marketing and strategy. Upon completion of his degree, he moved on to support a $30M e-commerce business in the wireless industry. Working in operations as a Program Manager, Ryan learned how to balance the needs of major external clients with the needs of a world class internal IT development team. To further build upon his experience in financial operations, Ryan continued to positions performing project accounting, treasury management and cash flow forecasting at a $2B publicly traded retailer. He then relocated to Washington, DC to support the start-up of a successful CFO services consultancy as a Senior Manager, where he directed projects and executive searches for not-for-profits, government contractors and commercial firms.
Ryan is a native of Rochester, NY and received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a dual concentration in Finance and Management Information Systems from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY. He completed his MBA at the Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester. After working and living in Rochester, NY, Washington, DC and in Portland, OR, Ryan now resides with his wife and three children in Park City, Utah. Among outside pursuits such as skiing, cycling and playing guitar, he serves as President of the Board of Directors for Mountain Town Music (a 501.c.3 organization). He is a long time supporter of the Youth Sports Alliance and its annual fundraiser Jans Winter Welcome. Ryan has also volunteered as an emcee and auctioneer for the Park City Day School, National Ability Center and Mountain Town Music.
